We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist with extensive experience in Dealer Management Systems (DMS), specifically ERA-IGNITE, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, configuration, and support of our DMS software, ensuring seamless operations across the dealership. Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds systems is a bonus but not mandatory. The candidate should be highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to supporting both technical and non-technical end users.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the ERA-IGNITE system, ensuring its optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Provide ongoing support to dealership staff, troubleshooting technical issues related to DMS and offering training sessions to ensure staff efficiency.
- System Configuration & Customization:
Customize ERA-IGNITE based on dealership needs, including user roles, workflows, and reporting tools. Make updates and modifications as required.
- Data Management & Reporting:
Manage data within the DMS, ensuring accurate information flow between departments such as sales, service, accounting, and parts. Generate and analyze system reports to support decision-making.
- Integrations & Third-Party Solutions:
Ensure ERA-IGNITE integrates seamlessly with third-party solutions, handling system upgrades, patches, and additional software integrations where needed.
- Network & System Support:
Collaborate with the broader IT team to manage and troubleshoot hardware, networks, and peripheral devices used in conjunction with the DMS. Provide general IT support across the dealership as needed.
Monitor system performance, handle backup procedures, and ensure DMS data is protected. Ensure compliance with dealership policies, regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
Participate in IT projects related to DMS upgrades, system migrations, or new software deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to dealership operations.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Proven experience with Reynolds DMS platform, including administration, customization, reporting, and user support.
- Solid understanding of dealership operations, including sales, service, and parts workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering excellent user support.
- Basic knowledge of network systems and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred:
- Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS systems.
- Experience with database management and report generation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT compliance standards.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) are advantageous.
